Our workshops offer an intro class to learn the basics, a day-long class with our team, a three-day workshop where guests choose a more in-depth project, or an immersive weeklong course at The Factory learning the entire garment creation process. If you purchase a workshop online, make sure to select “Purchase as a Gift” so we can send you a PDF to print at home. Workshops through The School of Making can be purchased at any time from now through Christmas Eve and you will receive an email with the printable PDF to gift.
A subscription to 2019 Build a Wardrobe makes a beautiful gift for anyone who loves sewing and sustainable fashion. Recipients will receive four packages throughout 2019 with that quarter’s pattern, fabric, and notions to make their garment. Upon checkout, leave a note and let our team know that you would like to gift this to a loved one. We’ll send you a PDF to print out with information about the subscription as well as the Build a Wardrobe Inspiration Packet that they can use to start planning their projects for the coming year.
You could also register your loved one for one of our three virtual learning classes available through Bluprint and Craftsy where they will learn the skills needed to complete a hand-sewn garment, our signature methods for embellishing hand-sewn garments, and tips and tricks to perfect your embroideries.
