2019 marks the fourth time The School of Making welcomes the new year with an inaugural Build a Wardrobe pattern debut.
With its modern style and relaxed, yet tailored fit, The Fractal Dress is flattering to a full range of body types.
Made up of expertly designed panels, The Fractal Dress allows the maker the opportunity to experiment with color and to apply appliqué, stencil, and beading designs in a variety of unique ways that bring modern twists to traditional techniques.
The pattern itself includes three variations: The Fractal Top, The Fractal Dress, and The Fractal Crossover Top. Two sleeve options (short and elbow) carry the pattern through the seasons, while optional side-seam pockets add functionality to the dress. All pattern variations have the option of either a funnel or crew neckline.
Like all of our Build a Wardrobe patterns, The Fractal Dress is offered à la carte through our Studio Books + Patterns in paper and downloadable digital versions.
