In November, The School of Making launched a brand new fabric color: Verdant. Reminiscent of woodlands and tranquil creeks and streams, this fresh green hue is the foundation of the 2019 School of Making programming.
Available for purchase by the yard, Verdant is also featured in DIY Kits, Design Bundle, Custom DIY Kits, and Build a Wardrobe.
Also in Verdant is our Limited-Edition Printed Cotton Jersey. Adorned with our Magdalena stencil in tonal Black, the printed cotton jersey can be purchased by the yard or is available in the Limited-Edition Swing Skirt Bundle.
This printed fabric makes a striking basic garment or lends itself well to appliqué, embroidery, and beading. To find treatment inspiration and instruction, explore The School of Making Book Series.
Like all of our printed fabric, Verdant was printed using eco-friendly, water-based inks by our friends at Spoonflower.
Share all your Verdant-hued projects, and all your other creations, with the entire making community using the hashtag #theschoolofmaking.
