We’re heading west this summer when Natalie travels to the Heath Ceramics shop in Los Angeles, California, to teach a One-Day Workshop.
Scheduled for July 27th, this One-Day Workshop includes discussion on the physics of sewing, instruction on reverse appliqué and other sewing techniques, and an overview of garment construction. While there, all makers will be able to start work on their own DIY Kit.
Our friends at Heath Ceramics graciously opened their doors to us and will welcome all workshop attendees to their showroom to explore their home goods and handcrafted ceramics. Alabama Chanin and The School of Making will be hosting a trunk show featuring the collection, home goods, and fabrics and notions.
Inspired by their commitment to quality, design, and the heritage of handcraft, we have written extensively about Heath Ceramics on the Journal. If you are new to Heath, our collaboration, and the beautiful things they make, you can browse those posts here.
To sign up for the One-Day Workshop, you can visit our website or give our Workshop Coordinator a call at 256-760-1090.
P.S.: Shop our partnerships with Heath Ceramics in time for Mother’s Day. We offer jewelry, the Helton Dinnerware Set, and the Camellia Opaque White Dinnerware Set.
