The Moth Radio Hour, founded in 1997, has a belief that listening to the stories of others can build community and widen our perspective, helping us realize what we have in common. Their podcast and live events provide platforms for these stories.
Their recently released book, Occasional Magic: True Stories About Defying the Impossible, offers a well-curated selection of stories told by familiar faces and new voices. Hear stories from New Yorker staff writer Adam Gopnik, Krista Tippett, memoirist Andrew Solomon, writer and musician Rosanne Cash, and new voices—all telling their unique narratives about finding strength to face the seemingly impossible.
