The newest addition to The School of Making’s pattern offerings, The Jumpsuit, which debuted as the second quarter of Build a Wardrobe 2019, brings a flattering and utilitarian style to your wardrobe. With its drawstring waist, flowing wide legs, and a fitted bust, The Jumpsuit is comfortable and flattering on a range of body types.
Along with The Jumpsuit, the pattern includes variations for a shirt and shirtdress. Both the jumpsuit and shirtdress come with short and long length options. This pattern comes with nested sizes XS through XXL and instructions for construction. An optional sleeve cuff is also included for more advanced sewers.
Pair The Jumpsuit with The School of Making’s Pocket Patterns to add function to your finished garment. Basic, cargo, and shell pocket styles, in three size options, are included in the Pockets Pattern and will allow you to customize the pockets to fit your jumpsuit, shirt, or shirtdress.
Like all of our patterns, The Jumpsuit is available as a physical paper pattern or as a digital download you can print at home or a copy shop. Detailed instructions for printing a pattern at home can be found on our Journal post here. Please note, when printing at home, you will print the pattern tiled. Due to the size of The Jumpsuit, you will be piecing together 100 sheets.
