Last week The School of Making announced that the standard color card of 25 100% Organic Medium-Weight Cotton Jersey colors was transitioning to 12, maker-favorite, fabric colors. This carefully considered change was spurred on by our desire to adhere to the values of sustainability and lean manufacturing that have been at the core of Alabama Chanin since its beginnings. The 13 colors that will be phased out are currently available here and in-store on a first-come-first-served basis.
These Last Chance fabrics are now available as fabric options for Custom DIY Kits. These colors will be available as kit options until the yardage is sold out. Like always, our Custom DIY Kits allow you to completely customize your garment, accessory, or home goods with the stencil and fabric, paint, thread, and embroidery floss colors of your choice. (Please keep in mind, due to this customization, Custom DIY Kits cannot be returned.)
