It is that time of year again – when we introduce the newest garment from our 2019 Build a Wardrobe program. This design is flattering to all and highlights the best of every person’s unique form.
The Pencil Skirt can be made in any of three variations: the Basic Pencil Skirt, the Asymmetrical Pencil Skirt, and the Crossover Pencil Skirt. All versions are 26” long and can be customized by adding pockets via The Pockets pattern.
As with all of our Build a Wardrobe patterns, you will receive a nested pattern that can be used to make garments from sizes XS to XXL, in both physical and digital format. Subscribers will also be sent the necessary fabric and Button Craft thread needed to complete your skirt (or skirts). For those who want to make the Asymmetrical Skirt, snaps are available in Maker Supplies + Stencils. If you would like to customize or embellish your garment, you can also find stencils, paint, embroidery floss, beads, and more in the Maker Supplies + Stencils section of The School of Making. Use our Alabama Studio Books for inspiration.
