“Music is the great uniter. An incredible force. Something that people who differ on everything and anything else can have in common.” ― Sarah Dessen
This past Saturday was the first-ever Shoals Fest here in Alabama, organized by singer and guitarist Jason Isbell. Shoals Fest celebrated the rich musical history of the Shoals area with a day full of shows across the Florence and Muscle Shoals area. After enjoying the festivities, we were inspired to explore and share the Muscle Shoals sound legacy and the studios and artists keeping those traditions alive and well today.
