Dear Alabama Chanin Guests,
Thoughtful design, ethical, and responsible production are the highest priorities for us. Our guiding principles of quality, impeccable service, unified teams, organic, local, regional, and domestic sourcing are reflections of our care for the wellbeing of all. We seek to be a benefit for the broader community in our region and around the globe.
Compassion for those affected by the Coronavirus, COVID-19, is at the forefront of our minds. As a precaution, we are taking extra measures to maintain a healthy workspace for our team members by following mitigation guidelines.
All scheduled events for the months of March and April are currently postponed until further notice. The Project Threadways Symposium has been rescheduled for November 19th – 21st, 2020. (Please stay tuned for more about each of our other events.) Additionally, The Factory store is closed to the public but open by appointment Monday – Friday. Factory tours are also postponed until further notice. If you’ve booked an event with us and have questions or would like to make an appointment, please reach out to Catherine at 256-760-1090 ext. 114 or events@alabamachanin.com. If you’d like to shop with us virtually, talk with Carlisle at 256-760-1090 ext. 105 or email sales@alabamachanin.com. Integral to our mission, we continue to source all of our products responsibly and as regionally as possible. Transparency is essential during seasons of uncertainty, and we invite you to view our supply chain here. It outlines the life-cycle of our 100% organic cotton garments from seed-to-stitch, and it is with a spirit of gratitude that, thanks to all of our partners, we know that our products are responsibly produced and 100% sewn in the USA.
We have and always will work hard to sustain healthy and safe work environments, create jobs for our community, enrich the culture of our state, and supply national and global patrons with clean and sustainable clothing, products, and services. During this time, we proceed with even more dedication and determination.
Since the year 2000, our CEO and creative director, Natalie Chanin, has committed to creating a luxury fashion lifestyle brand that does things differently. Through years of good work and commitment to a strong value system, she has designed garments that are creating a sustainable future. In a time with high global supply chain concerns, it is with great honor to our team members, both past and present, that we create garments and products that contribute to a global conversation on sustainability on all levels. We press onward to design and produce in a way that will stand the test of time and holistically benefit the environment, people, and global communities.
Stay well this season,
All of us at Alabama Chanin.
Thoughtful design. Responsible production. Good business. Quality that lasts.
