This Saturday, July 11th, is World Population Day. With this observance, the UN calls “on leaders, policymakers, grassroots organizers, institutions, and others to help make reproductive health and rights a reality for all.” Access to safe, egalitarian, and non-judgemental reproductive services should be a basic human right afforded to all women across the world.
To honor National Population Day, this week we share a few of the organizations that champion women’s health, rights, and safety.
Every Mother Counts was founded in 2010 with the mission to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.
