World Kindness Day was founded in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement and is celebrated all over the world annually on November 13 (this Friday). The holiday is meant to “highlight good deeds in the community, focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.” World Kindness Day is a gentle reminder that we all are truly in this together. To honor this day, this week we share resources in the hope that they will inspire you to extend a hand to your loved ones and community through random acts of kindness, volunteering, or donating to the less fortunate. We also invite you to share, in the comments below, a meaningful act of kindness you have received in your life.
