The Bauhaus, a pioneering institution of modern design, architecture, and craft, was founded on April 12, 1919. 102 years ago today. The school has long inspired Natalie’s design philosophies and style choices at Alabama Chanin. In honor of this anniversary, this week we share a history of the school, posts from The Journal archives, and resources that show how the Bauhaus ethos is still alive and well in the world today.
