Cotton is at the heart of our business. It is rooted in our history, and it shapes the future of our work at Alabama Chanin. From Natalie’s beginnings of cutting up a t-shirt and sewing it back together again, to our current offerings of organic medium-weight, lightweight, waffle, and rib-knit cotton, Alabama Chanin and The School of Making have spent the better part of two decades devoted to using the most sustainable materials in the most responsible and transparent ways.
