“Every colour harbours its own soul.” — Emil Nolde
Last week we explored the world of natural dyeing in anticipation of our collaboration with Botanical Colors. This week we highlight and share friends, inspirations, makers, growers, and trailblazers in the world of natural dyeing. Like Alabama Chanin, these artisans share a passion for sustainability and the preservation of heirloom plants and processes. Their contribution to the living arts and the making community as a whole is immense. We invite you to explore their history, craft, and community presence through the links below and share natural dyers you’d like us to know in the comments.
