“What we take, how and what we make, what we waste, is in fact a question of ethics.” – Yvon Chouinard

THIS WEEK
On Thursday, April 28th, Natalie will be in New York along with Jill Dumain, Patagonia’s Directory of Environmental Strategy, for drinks and a discussion about women in the enviro-business at Patagonia New York SoHo. This event is free, open to the public, and no RSVP is necessary.

Join us for Sip + Sew Saturday on April 30th. Spend a few hours working on your latest sewing project, socialize, and enjoy brunch and a mimosa (or two). Please bring your own fabric and sewing notions. This event is free and open to the public, no RSVP required.

If you happen to be in Montgomery, AL for the weekend, join us for a trunk show and workshop at Southern Makers April 30th through May 1st. Shop Alabama Chanin products and brush up on your sewing skills all while listening to great music and browsing other makers and doers from across the South.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Join us on Monday, May 2nd, for First Mondays. Spend your morning sharing inspiration and encouragement with fellow sewers. Please bring your own fabric and sewing notions. Coffee, tea, and lunch will be available for purchase from the café.

DAILY LUNCH
Week days at The Factory mean savory meals featuring organic, and regionally-sourced ingredients. Our Daily Menu rotates with the seasons and features everything from soup and sandwiches, to quiche and freshly baked bread. Stay for a free, guided tour each weekday at 2:00pm, where you will learn about the history of the company and our sustainable manufacturing practices.

SATURDAY BRUNCH
Celebrate Saturdays with Brunch from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Our menu covers all of your breakfast basics, including biscuits and homemade gravy, and mimosas made with freshly squeezed orange juice.

CAFÉ SERVICES
Catering and freshly-baked whole cakes are available for all events and occasions. Work directly with our head chef, Zachariah, to create a menu tailored to your tastes. Please provide 24 hours’ notice when placing an order. Call +1.256.760.1090 and ask for the café to place your order.
