On Tuesday, June 22nd, Natalie is speaking at Patagonia’s Mag Mile Chicago store in a special lecture with Jill Dumain, Patagonia’s Director of Environmental Strategy. The evening includes limited materials for making. This event is free and open to the public. Visit here for more information.
You can find a selection of Natalie’s work and Alabama Chanin garments on display at exhibitions across the South, including the Wiregrass Museum of Art in Dothan, Alabama, and the The Georgine Clarke Alabama Artists Gallery in Montgomery, Alabama. UPCOMING EVENTS
Please note that The Factory and all Alabama Chanin offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, and resume regular business hours. Wherever you find yourself – may you make happy memories and have safe travels.
We’ve still got a few spots available for our Two Hour Sewing Workshop on July 29. Purchase your tickets now and plan your trip to Florence for the day. This workshop is suited for beginners and experience sewers alike. Work with the Alabama Chanin team to create a hand sewn project from a selection of custom kits. After the workshop, enjoy lunch from The Factory’s café.
If you decide to travel in for the July 29th workshop, make a weekend of it and stay for our Sip + Sew Saturday on July 30 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Brunch, coffee, and beverages will be available for purchase from The Factory’s café from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Work in the company of fellow sewers and receive guidance and great company along the way.

The Factory is serving up savory meals every weekday featuring organic, regionally-sourced ingredients. Our Daily Menu rotates with the seasons and features everything from soup and sandwiches, to quiche and freshly baked bread. Stay for a free, guided tour each weekday at 2:00pm, where you will learn about the history of the company and our sustainable manufacturing practices.
SATURDAY BRUNCH
Start your Saturdays the right way with brunch from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Our menu covers all of your breakfast basics, including biscuits and homemade gravy, and mimosas made with freshly squeezed orange juice. Our store is open from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Come out and shop our new Collection and a selection of accessories, home goods, and kitchen wares.

Custom catering and freshly-baked whole cakes are available for all events and occasions. Work directly with our head chef, Zachariah, to create a delicious menu tailored to your tastes and needs.
