Please remember that Alabama Chanin and The Factory will be closed Monday, September 5th, in observance of Labor Day. Wherever your plans take you, we hope you have a safe and fun long weekend.
Our First Monday sewing group will meet on Tuesday, September 6th, from 8:30am – 11:30am. Bring your current project and sewing notions and share inspiration, laughs, and lunch from our café with your fellow sewers.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Join us on September 19th, from 8:30 – 11:30am in our studio space for Third Monday. Work on your latest sewing project in the company of fellow makers, sharing coffee and encouragement. Afterward, join us for lunch from the café. Please remember to bring your own fabric and sewing notions.

DAILY LUNCH
Every weekday, The Factory offers lunch from our Daily Menu. The menu includes soups, sandwiches, cookies, crepes, and a selection of wine and beer. Our menu changes with each season and is full of organic and locally-sourced ingredients. After lunch, stay for a free, guided tour of our facility at 2:00pm. On the tour, you will learn about the history of our company and our sustainable manufacturing practices. You will also get to see our design studio and Building 14 production facility, as well as our stenciling, workshops, and pattern making areas.
SATURDAY BRUNCH
Every Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm, we offer Factory specials like French Toast and The Factory Benedict. We also serve breakfast staples such as homemade biscuits and gravy, bacon, and scrambled eggs. After your meal, shop our Collection of artisan-made garments as well as a selection of home goods, kitchen wares, and accessories. Our store is open from 10:00am – 3:00pm.
CAFÉ SERVICES
The Factory offers catering and freshly-baked whole cakes for all occasions and special events. Our head chef Zachariah will work with you to create a personalized menu to suit your tastes and requirements. Please provide 72 hours’ notice when placing an order.
