If you’ve been down to the Gulf, you might have heard of Lulu’s—Lucy Buffet’s one-stop shop for all-things Gulf Coast—food, entertaining, and fun. Lucy (an Alabama native) is making a trip to the northwest corner of the state this summer. She will be joining us at The Factory on Thursday, July 27th for a book-signing party as she introduces her newly released cookbook, Gumbo Love: Recipes for Gulf Coast Cooking, Entertaining, and Savoring the Good Life.
Filled with recipes nurtured by the diverse food culture of the Gulf Coast, Gumbo Love incorporates Caribbean, Cajun, Mexican, Creole, Cuban, and Old Florida flavors and Lucy’s philosophy of relaxation, freedom, and gratitude.
Lucy and her team will be here sharing samples from her cookbook that include Lucy’s Signature Summer Gumbo, Honey Ale “Pamenna” Grilled Cheese Bites, Blueberry Bread Pudding. Special mocktails, beer, and wine will also be available to those 21 and over. This event is free and open to the public.
