Join us in celebrating the start of W.C. Handy Music Festival with a special blues brunch, featuring Will and Janet McFarlane on Saturday, July 22nd at The Factory Café. Will McFarlane played guitar for six years with legendary musician Bonnie Raitt before relocating to Muscle Shoals and playing on records as part of the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. He has a versatile musical background encompassing folk, country, gospel, rock’n’roll, and the blues and often shares the stage with his wife, Janet—a talented singer and performer. They will be performing from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
The Factory Café will be serving a special menu featuring “Blues Belgian Waffles” topped with blueberries, maple syrup, and freshly whipped cream; Summer Shrimp + Grits; Chocolate Gravy + Biscuits; and classic brunch dishes with fresh farm eggs and breakfast meats. We source our craft beer from Alabama breweries and will be offering $4 mimosas and $4 beer to those 21+ older.
Reservations are suggested, but not required—though we do require reservations for parties of 8 or more. We are a small café serving fresh food and need time to serve you right.
