Bldg. 14 was founded in 2013 as a means to produce quality, machine-sewn garments for ourselves and also to provide manufacturing opportunities to designers who want to make in the United States (like us) and work with our organic fabrics. Since its inception, we’ve collaborated with Patagonia, Stella Ishii, Heath Ceramics, and Billy Reid. Our latest manufacturing project is with Nashville-based Jamie + The Jones.
Jamie + The Jones is the creation of Jamie Frazier and Hannah Jones, who met while studying at O’More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee (just two hours north of Florence). They’ve been creating honest and simple clothing since 2009, inspired by color and collaboration. They dream of effortless beauty blended with quality fabrications and craftsmanship, combined with whimsical and wearable silhouettes.
