Project Threadways is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that records, studies, and explores the history of textiles. Through their work, they seek to understand the impact that textiles and their creation had on our local community, the region of the American South, the nation, and finally at the global level—connecting the people, places, and materials throughout the process. We are donating 15% of every purchase of the Lightweight Face Mask to support Project Threadways’ work toward a healthier future in which textiles are an integral part of growing communities, and where material culture can be a source of reconciliation and communal growth.
The Equal Justice Initiative was founded over 30 years ago by attorney Bryan Stevenson as a nonprofit that provides legal representation to those who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. We are donating 15% of sales from The River & The Thread Tee and the Love Print to support the EJI’s work toward challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.
